Guardian Live: The Edward Snowden story - from inside the Guardian

As Laura Poitras' documentary, Citizenfour, contends for an Oscar at this weekend, we bring together the key players from the Guardian who were responsible for one of the biggest stories of the decade.

Edward Snowden's decision to blow the whistle on the activities of the National Security Agency reverberated and continues to reverberate around the world. The story led to the Guardian and the Washington Post receiving the highest accolade in US journalism: the Pulitzer prize for public service.

Join the Guardian's editor-in-chief Alan Rusbridger, editor-in-chief of theguardian.com Janine Gibson, head of news Stuart Millar, and defense and intelligence correspondent Ewen MacAskill, to hear the inside track on the spy story of our age.

The evening will begin with a screening of Citizenfour, followed by a Q&A with the panel, chaired by Mark Lawson.

Running time: Film screening followed by Q&A. Short 15 minute interval between film and discussion.
